ABOUT KODY
Kody Horrocks is a multifaceted performer, a true triple threat. She is Nebraska born and raised, and a 6th generation Nebraskan in her family.
Kody's performances are an exploration of unique topics. Ranging from dramatic, and emotional roles, to whimsical, comedic roles. She is particularly drawn to roles that let her be comedic not only through her words, but through physical comedy as well.
She is most well known for her high belt while also being able to execute a strong, legit soprano piece.
My voice is a clear part of who I am. Happiness to me is being given the opportunity to share my voice and my story.
For the last 4 years, I have been an advocate for performers living a healthy lifestyle, especially on the subject of food and disordered eating. I am a huge advocate for theatre artists living their happiest and healthiest life without sacrificing a meal. To be able to speak for those who don’t have strong voices yet is something I have a deep passion for.
This career is the only way of life for me. There is nowhere else I want to be.

Reviews
Matilda the Musical
"Horrocks embodies a vacuous woman with no interest outside of herself. As she proclaims, she would rather have looks than books. She surprises, however, when she dances. The dance and song, “Loud,” is one of my favorite scenes."

"Our leading ladies, Violet (Wendy Allen), Doralee (Kody Horrocks), and Judy (Anna Rebecca Felber) gel so well together. It’s hard to recreate that chemistry for those characters from the film, but, these guys got it. They lead us through the story with charm and well fleshed out (sorry Doralee) characters, so, we know we’re in good hands from the get-go."
